A Trip to Lyon, France

Lyon is probably a relatively safe city for travel in Europe. We each bought a 48-hour pass that covers transportation and attractions. In Europe, package deals are usually more cost-effective if you're willing to be active. A city like this is enough to explore in two or three days because all the attractions are not far from each other, except for Parc de la Tête d'Or.🤣 Pictures: Basilique Notre-Dame de Fourvière Gallo-Roman Theatre of Lyon Vieux Lyon (Old Town) Fresque des Lyonnais (Lyon Murals) There are also Parc de la Tête d'Or, Place des Terreaux, the Fine Arts Museum, and various other museums worth visiting.😁 Basilique Notre-Dame de Fourvière stands majestically on Fourvière Hill, with its stunning architecture that shines beautifully under the sun. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Lyon, which is absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset.👌 The Gallo-Roman Theatre of Lyon is a testament to the city's ancient past. Walking among the ruins, you can almost imagine the performances that once took place here, with the echoes of the audience filling the air. Vieux Lyon is a charming area with narrow cobblestone streets, medieval buildings, and cozy little restaurants. It's perfect for wandering around, exploring hidden corners, and soaking up the historic atmosphere.🤣 The Fresque des Lyonnais is a huge mural that depicts the history and famous people of Lyon. It's a fascinating spot to take photos and learn about the city's rich culture. Parc de la Tête d'Or is a large and beautiful park where you can relax, have a picnic, or even visit the zoo. It's a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.😊 Place des Terreaux is a lively square with a magnificent fountain, surrounded by important buildings like the City Hall and the Fine Arts Museum. It's a popular gathering place for both locals and tourists. The Fine Arts Museum houses an impressive collection of artworks from various periods, including paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts. It's a must-visit for art lovers.🙌 Try not to go to remote places at night. When booking a hotel, make sure to choose a relatively safe area that's not in a dangerous neighborhood (you can check this in advance). When out and about, carry your bag in front of you. On the subway, hold your bag tightly and keep a firm grip on your phone.😁 Famous internet-famous restaurants usually have queues that last for hours (varies by restaurant)! For Michelin restaurants, it's recommended to book two or three weeks in advance! For restaurants without a reservation, be sure to confirm in advance that they are open during their business hours! Finally, I wish all travelers a safe and happy trip~🙌 #Lyon #Travel #Europe #EuropeanTravel #LyonTravel #TravelNearLyon #FranceTravel #Tourism
