A Vibe Restaurant with Great Food in San Diego 🍴

Last weekend, I finally visited the super popular LEILA restaurant in San Diego! Gotta say, I’d been looking forward to it for so long, and it definitely did not disappoint! 🥹 As soon as I stepped inside, I was totally captivated by the Moroccan-meets-California vibe. The lighting was absolutely stunning—I couldn’t stop taking pictures 📸✨! We ordered the signature grilled meat platter, and the lamb chops were so tender they fell right off the bone with just a gentle cut. The spices were just perfect! 🤤 Even the grilled veggies surprised us—infused with lemon and rosemary, they were amazing! The most mind-blowing dish was the hummus. So silky and smooth, paired with freshly baked pita bread…we ended up ordering another portion! My friend kept shaking her head while eating, saying, “This is just too much!” (meaning it’s so good she was at a loss for words) 😂💕 Our server was super sweet—when he saw us struggling to decide, he recommended the pomegranate braised beef. And wow! It was rich, tangy, and paired perfectly with saffron rice 🍛👏! Even though we were totally stuffed by the end, we still shared the baklava for dessert. The crisp layers with honey and nuts were the perfect finish 🍯! The price was around $50 per person, which is pretty standard for downtown. But given the amazing food and atmosphere, it’s totally worth a second visit! I highly recommend making a reservation in advance—even on a Sunday night, the place was packed 👀!
