A Visit to Atelier Manna Brunch in Encinitas
On the weekend, I visited Atelier Manna in Encinitas for brunch with friends. The restaurant is located next to a quiet train track, and street parking is very convenient ๐ ฟ๏ธโno need to worry about finding a spot. Upon entering, the relaxed atmosphere, with its wooden decor and bright windows, immediately lifted my spirits โจ. We ordered the signature duck confit leg, which is an absolute must-try ๐๐๐๐๐! The duck leg had a crispy skin and tender, juicy meat that oozed with aroma when cut. The parsnip puree underneath was especially uniqueโcreamy and smooth, complemented by savory sausage bits. The combination of salty and sweet flavors was perfectly balanced, making every bite memorable ๐. For drinks, I tried the Goldenrod, which is highly recommended ๐! It has a cucumber juice base with a hint of turmeric, offering a refreshing taste and a subtle spiciness. Not only delicious, it also felt healthy ๐ฅ, making it a great pairing for brunch. However, there was a small hiccup during the meal. Perhaps due to the weekend crowd, the server repeatedly asked if we were finished or needed plates cleared, even while we were still chewing ๐ . Guests at the next table also quietly complained about the same issue, which made the experience feel a bit rushed and slightly diminished the enjoyment ๐. Hopefully, the restaurant can allow more time for diners during busy hours to perfect the experience. Overall, the food at Atelier Manna is excellent, especially the duck confit leg and Goldenrod drinkโdefinitely worth trying. With a little improvement in service pacing, it could be a flawless brunch experience ๐.
