A Zero-Ticket Snowscape Tour in Bratislava

**Transportation:** - **Train (Regiojet)** - **Prague — Bratislava (RJ 1043)** - **Departure:** 11:16 Prague, Main Station (MS)😀😀😀 - **Arrival:** 15:26 Bratislava, Main Station (MS) - **Ticket Price:** 19.7 euros - **Recommendation:** I highly recommend taking Regiojet trains when traveling in Central and Eastern Europe! The Prague station has a dedicated waiting lounge with free snacks. The food on the train is also very affordable and delicious (to my personal taste). After the train departs, you can order food through the official app. On the RJ train, I ordered curry rice for 2.9 euros and cheesecake for 1.9 euros. (Figure 17: At this price, the taste is really great value for money!)😁😁😁 **Accommodation:** - **DoubleTree by Hilton Bratislava** (Located in the New Town, a bit far from the Old Town of Bratislava) - **Note:** Compared to other European capitals, Bratislava might seem a bit boring, but it is very peaceful overall. The Old Town is small and perfect for a city walk. On the day of our trip, it snowed, which added a lot of charm to our journey.❤️❤️❤️ **Sights to See:** 1️⃣ **The Blue Church (Church of St. Elizabeth)** - Free entry, but pay attention to the opening hours. 2️⃣ **Old Bridge (Starý most)** 3️⃣ **Sad Janka Kráľa** 4️⃣ **Most SNP (UFO Tower)** - You can climb to the top, and there is also a panoramic restaurant. 5️⃣ **Bratislava Castle (Bratislavský hrad)** 6️⃣ **Čumil Statue** **Dining:** - **Čínska reštaurácia Pri jazere Kuchajda (Lakefront Restaurant)** - **Menu:** Two dishes, two soups, and two servings of rice - **Average Cost per Person:** 14 euros - **Location:** In the New Town, a bit far for visitors who only plan to explore the Old Town. The portions are generous, and the food tastes great!😻😻😻 - **Ramen Kazu (Japanese Ramen Restaurant)** - **Average Cost per Person:** 12.9 euros - **Description:** Authentic Japanese ramen. I requested less salt, and it suited my taste perfectly. It was especially comforting to enjoy a hot bowl of Japanese ramen on a snowy winter day. (Located near the Čumil statue) **Public Transportation:** - **Bus Fare:** 1.1 euros per single ride - **Note:** Tickets cannot be purchased from the driver but can be bought from the yellow machines at bus stops. If you are staying in the Old Town and only plan to explore the Old Town, walking is generally sufficient. #Bratislava #EuropeSoloTravel #Slovakia
