About Kanazawa Castle Park and Kenrokuen Garden
Kanazawa | Attractions Edition: About Kanazawa Castle Park and Kenrokuen Garden 🌺🌇This morning, I got up early to visit Kanazawa Castle Park and Kenrokuen Garden. 🌲 Kanazawa Castle Park is surrounded by green trees even in winter. One unique thing is that the trees in the park are all equipped with something like ropes (p1) to secure them. 🎢🍃 Later, I learned that this is called “Yuki-tori” (snow ropes). 🌺🌇 (“Yuki-tori” is a traditional Japanese method to protect trees from heavy snow, preventing branches from breaking under the weight of accumulated snow.) Yuki-tori reflects the meticulous management and respect the Japanese have for nature and gardens. 🎢🍃 You can also see sanitation workers cleaning the park, which is quite different from what I saw in places like Mount Fuji and Nagano. 🧹 🌺🌇Kanazawa Castle is not just a castle; it is a symbol of the integration of history and culture. It represents the peak of local political and cultural development during Japan's Edo period. 🎢🍃 Whether from the perspective of architectural art or historical value, Kanazawa Castle is a shining pearl of Japanese culture. 🌟 #Kanazawa 🌺
