Absolutely Delicious, with Top-Notch Service! 🍽️💫

During our recent trip to London, we stayed at the Hyatt Albert Embankment—and every time we walked to the Vauxhall Tube Station, we kept passing by this charming spot called The Rose 🏽. “We have to try this lovely-looking pub!” we’d say to each other… and finally, on our last night, we made it happen! ✨ And what a delightful decision that turned out to be! From the moment we stepped in, we felt welcomed. The pub staff were warm and friendly, and the menu? Far more creative and refined than what you might expect from a typical “pub”! 📜🍷 While the fish and chips coming out of the kitchen looked absolutely divine, I decided to go for the salmon fishcakes—and my wife chose the saffron mac 'n' cheese. Let me tell you… both dishes were STUNNING! 😋👌 The salmon fishcakes were perfectly golden, flaky, and packed with fresh, vibrant flavor. And that saffron mac 'n' cheese? Creamy, luxurious, and subtly spiced—it was comfort food elevated to an art form! 🧀🍯 But what made the evening truly special was the service. A huge shout-out to Alicia, our server, who was not only incredibly kind and attentive but also full of warmth and humor! 😄 She checked on us several times, shared a few laughs, and made us feel like valued guests—not just another table. We spent 8 full days in the UK, dining in everything from cozy cafes to upscale restaurants 🧳🍽️, but The Rose left such a lasting impression that it’s the only place I felt compelled to write about! 📝❤️ So if you’re a local or a traveler staying nearby—don’t sleep on this gem!
