Adelaide | Stunning Hallett Cove Beach 🏖️✨
1️⃣ Take the Seaford line from the city train station and get off at Hallett Cove Beach station (not Hallett Cove!). 🚨 You must use a MetroCard or buy a single ticket – Apple Pay doesn’t work here! The ride takes about 30 mins. Once you arrive, just follow the map toward the coast 🗺️. 2️⃣ On the way from the station to the beach, you’ll pass beautiful houses with gorgeous front yards – perfect for photos! 📸 (Sorry if it feels a bit intrusive, but the gardens and decorations are just too pretty not to capture 🥹) 3️⃣ Compared to Glenelg, this beach feels much less commercial – no hotels, bars, or cafes in sight. It’s surrounded by quiet homes and has a pebble shoreline (just like some UK beaches!). The natural landscape blends beautifully with the ocean 🌊💙. 4️⃣ After the beach, hike up the coastal trail! There’s a well-maintained boardwalk – don’t wander off into unmarked paths. Follow the wooden walkway all the way – the whole loop takes about 2 hours (with photo stops, of course!). Then head back to Hallett Cove Beach station to return to the city 🚆. 5️⃣ Best time to go? After 4 PM! The sun is softer, and if you time it right – you’ll catch a breathtaking sunset over the water 🌅💜💛. Trust me, the beach looks magical at golden hour! #LifeInAustralia #Adelaide #UniversityOfAdelaide #HallettCoveBeach #BeachVibes
