Adelaide is NOT Boring | Hidden Gems Around the City Guide 1⃣️!

Where is everyone planning to go during the break? 🌿 I’ve put together a personal list of little escapes around Adelaide that are perfect for a short holiday or a chill weekend! Some are just a short 🚗 drive from the city, and others are even accessible by public transport! 1️⃣ Hand-Feed Giant Pandas at Adelaide Zoo 🐼 Adelaide Zoo is home to Wang Wang and Fu Ni—the only two giant pandas in Australia! These two have been here for 15 years and will soon return to 🇨🇳. Time is running out to see them! You can book a 🎫 on the zoo’s website for an up-close encounter. Sessions are limited to 6 people and run on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 8:30 AM. You’ll even get to feed them—an experience that’s rare even in China! 2️⃣ Hallett Cove: New Suspension Bridge + Glacial Hike 🌊 You can reach the seaside Hallett Cove by train! There’s a newly built suspension bridge that sways a little—adds to the fun 😉 Don’t miss The Sugarloaf nearby ⛰️—a stunning pink-tinged ancient glacial formation that’s super photogenic 📸 3️⃣ Kayak With Dolphins in a Sanctuary 🛶🐬 No experience needed, and it’s not too physically demanding! At the Dolphin Sanctuary, join a guided kayak tour through mangroves and open waters 🌿🌊 You might spot playful wild dolphins and even paddle past an old shipwreck 🚢—a mix of nature and history! 4️⃣ Open Safari Zoo: Feed Lions & Giraffes 🦁🦒 Monarto Safari Park is one of the largest safari zoos outside of Africa! It’s a full-day experience—go early and book tickets 🎫 in advance! Hop on a shuttle bus with live commentary 🚌. Check the website for free keeper talk schedules (especially packed on weekends!). You can also feed lions, giraffes, and more—a rare chance to get close to wildlife 💛 Let me know if you want parts 2 or 3 – there’s so much more around Radelaiding! 💚 #AdelaideFoodAndFun #StudyInAdelaide #AdelaideTravel
