🌼 Adelaide Spring | Ultimate Canola Flower Guide 🌼

🌼 The annual canola flower season is here again! With clear skies ahead, it’s the perfect time to head out and enjoy the blooms. 🚗 Our chosen route was near the town of Gawler, about 60 km (a 50-minute drive) from Adelaide. This area is very close to the Barossa Valley wineries 🍷, so you can easily extend your trip for some wine tasting! 📍 Navigation & Parking: 728 Barossa Valley Way, Sandy Creek SA 5350 (parking available) I’ve marked a suggested route (red line) on the map. 💚 Green circles = rice fields | 💛 Yellow circles = canola flower fields Along the way, you’ll also see sheep pens 🐑, horse ranches 🐎, and endless green rice fields – super soothing! ⚠️ Important Notes: Most canola fields are private property (fenced) – do not enter without permission. Also, be aware there might be snakes 🐍 in deeper grass areas. 😨 ✈️ We saw small planes flying low during both of our visits – drone users, please fly carefully and land in time.
