πΌ Adelaide Spring | Ultimate Canola Flower Guide πΌ
πΌ The annual canola flower season is here again! With clear skies ahead, itβs the perfect time to head out and enjoy the blooms. π Our chosen route was near the town of Gawler, about 60 km (a 50-minute drive) from Adelaide. This area is very close to the Barossa Valley wineries π·, so you can easily extend your trip for some wine tasting! π Navigation & Parking: 728 Barossa Valley Way, Sandy Creek SA 5350 (parking available) Iβve marked a suggested route (red line) on the map. π Green circles = rice fields | π Yellow circles = canola flower fields Along the way, youβll also see sheep pens π, horse ranches π, and endless green rice fields β super soothing! β οΈ Important Notes: Most canola fields are private property (fenced) β do not enter without permission. Also, be aware there might be snakes π in deeper grass areas. π¨ βοΈ We saw small planes flying low during both of our visits β drone users, please fly carefully and land in time. If you know other great spots for flower viewing, π feel free to share in the comments! Iβve also posted a drone footage video β check it out if youβre interested. Wishing everyone a joyful and flowery trip! π #LifeInAustralia #Adelaide #CanolaFlowers #WeekendGetaway #AdelaideTravel
