🌼 Adelaide Spring | Ultimate Canola Flower Guide 🌼

🌼 The annual canola flower season is here again! With clear skies ahead, it’s the perfect time to head out and enjoy the blooms. πŸš— Our chosen route was near the town of Gawler, about 60 km (a 50-minute drive) from Adelaide. This area is very close to the Barossa Valley wineries 🍷, so you can easily extend your trip for some wine tasting! πŸ“ Navigation & Parking: 728 Barossa Valley Way, Sandy Creek SA 5350 (parking available) I’ve marked a suggested route (red line) on the map. πŸ’š Green circles = rice fields | πŸ’› Yellow circles = canola flower fields Along the way, you’ll also see sheep pens πŸ‘, horse ranches 🐎, and endless green rice fields – super soothing! ⚠️ Important Notes: Most canola fields are private property (fenced) – do not enter without permission. Also, be aware there might be snakes 🐍 in deeper grass areas. 😨 ✈️ We saw small planes flying low during both of our visits – drone users, please fly carefully and land in time. If you know other great spots for flower viewing, πŸ‘ feel free to share in the comments! I’ve also posted a drone footage video – check it out if you’re interested. Wishing everyone a joyful and flowery trip! πŸ˜„ #LifeInAustralia #Adelaide #CanolaFlowers #WeekendGetaway #AdelaideTravel
