Affordable Florence Restaurant Recommended by Locals š½ļøš
I visited this restaurant based on my landlord's recommendation, and later, because I couldn't stop thinking about the meal, I came back again. š Ristorante La Spada It's a local cuisine restaurant with pasta and grilled meats. Mostly frequented by locals, I even saw Italian families having gatherings here. The waiters don't speak much English, so it's best to point at the menu or use English keywords when ordering. The restaurant is quite spacious, divided into many areas. There's a section by the street and another by a small garden. The overall ambiance is quite nice. š Beef Stew The beef is stewed to tender perfection, and the accompanying chickpeas are also good. š Roasted Mixed Meat A mixed grill platter with steak, chicken, and pork, served with potatoes that absorb the sauce and are very tasty. Just a bit too much meat. š Sides The eggplant is one of the sides. We originally thought sides would be served with the meat, so we ordered one per person, not realizing it's a full plate. The cheese eggplant is especially delicious. š Lasagna The lasagna is very tasty, soft and not sour because it's not tomato-based. It also has large meat chunks inside. š Rice with Mushroom This is the last dish above the pasta section on the menu. The mushroom rice has a bit of a cheese flavor. š Tiramisu Super delicious. š With Wine Biscuits soaked in wine, very special. Wine lovers shouldn't miss it! š Chestnut Flummery This is really a pleasant surprise, with a dense chestnut texture.
