After five years, it’s still the pinnacle of Japanese cuisine in my he

I’m talking about Taneda 😋 The special dishes in October included the sweet monkfish liver and various matsutake mushroom dishes. The matsutake soup was so delicious it made my eyebrows fall off. The matsutake rice pot with half-boiled salmon roe was truly stunning! The seasonal desserts featured pumpkin mochi and strawberries with chestnut Mont Blanc. 🍡🍓 Another pleasant surprise was the tiger prawn with eggplant, the fried fish with white vinegar seasoning, and the tamagoyaki with a pudding-like texture. 🍤🍆 Taneda’s dedication is still felt throughout the meal, with thoughtful exploration of ingredients and flavors. 🙏 The last time I came was in January 2020, before the pandemic. We said we’d come every month, but five years have passed… it’s just so hard to get a reservation!! 🗓️ In the past five years, I’ve tried Shiro, Kashiba, Takai by Kashiha, Wataru, Wa’z, Ltd, and Sushi Sho in Hawaii, but Taneda still outshines them all. 🌟 Back then, there was a mandatory 18% tip, with the total cost per person around $180 including tax and tip. Now, it’s$300 per person, and it’s still hard to get a table, which just shows how good it is. 💸 In the end, I managed to snag 4 spots with my quick hands. Giving myself a big thumbs up! May the food gods bless me with a reservation at Taneda for November. 🙌 #ProofThatYouLoveJapaneseCuisine #TreasureRestaurantShare #JapaneseCuisine #MyTreasureFoodCollection #RestaurantRecommendation #SeattleFood #SeattleJapaneseCuisine
