Aging Gracefully at Monarch in Dallas

🌟Monarch in Dallas is one of the best restaurants we’ve ever visited, located on the 49th floor of a high-rise in downtown Dallas. The view is, as you can imagine, spectacular. Typically, a reservation for a window seat requires a minimum spend. Although I didn’t book one today, I arrived early and was still given a window table with a beautiful view of the city skyline. 🔥The heirloom tomato and fresh mozzarella salad is the leader’s favorite. The Italian-style shrimp ravioli is the best I’ve ever tasted—the shrimp is incredibly fresh and flavorful. We also ordered some shared sides. The bread served before the meal, along with the honey butter, was delicious. Everything was quite tasty. 🥬Overall, the view is great, but the food is pretty average—it’s more about the scenery. I’d recommend going around sunset so you can enjoy both the daytime and nighttime views from the window. The restaurant itself is quite beautiful, with an impressive grand staircase that would make for great photos. However, two Indian gentlemen were taking their time photographing it, and after waiting a few minutes, I lost my patience and left. 🍷There is a minimum spend for window seats, and you need to prepay $125 per person through their website. There’s also free champagne available downstairs, which is perfect for a drink. Unfortunately, neither my boyfriend nor I are big drinkers. #DallasFood #FoodPorn #SpringBreak
