Aix-en-Provence: A Chic & Kid-Friendly Gem in Provence 💎

This elegant, under-the-radar town stole our hearts! Less touristy (especially for Asian travelers), yet brimming with youthful energy thanks to its prestigious university. Think art, luxury boutiques, and well-heeled locals—plus the only Apple Store in Provence! 🍏 (Yes, even Hermès has a spot here.) As Paul Cézanne’s hometown, Aix oozes creativity. We missed his studio (closed for summer exhibitions), but with two little ones, we embraced slow travel—and still found magic! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Kid-Approved Itinerary 🚂 Mini Tourist Train (45min, €10/adult, €5/child) Scenic loop with Chinese audio (minimal commentary, but toddlers love it!). Perfect for tired legs! ⛪ Saint-Sauveur Cathedral More striking than post-restoration Notre-Dame de Paris! Ancient yet modern—don’t miss the priest’s contemporary desk. 🍓 Morning Market (Place Richelme) Grab fresh fruit and soak up local life. 🎨 Gallifet Art Center A stunning villa-turned-gallery. Kids played with pebbles in the garden while we admired exhibits. Bliss! 🌳 Parc Jourdan The only large park near the old town—slides, lawns, and picnic spots. See last 3 photos! 🏡 Where We Stayed A quiet old-town Airbnb—steps from restaurants and sights. Ideal for families! Why We’ll Be Back Aix blends culture, ease, and charm. Maybe someday, our kids will study here! 📚✨ #ProvenceWithKids #FrenchHiddenGems #SlowTravel
