🇹🇭 Siam Square (Thai Cuisine) ✅ Located right next to the popular Japanese spot Ajimi 🍣 — we originally planned to eat at Ajimi, but after stepping inside, we quickly realized it was a Japanese restaurant run by a Korean owner with Alaskan staff. Service seemed slow, and the menu didn’t look inspiring, so we made a swift exit 🚪💨. Just 50 meters away, we found this cozy little Thai eatery. Run by only one chef and a sweet elderly server 👵❤️ — the grandma was very kind and attentive! 🍽️ What We Ordered: 🌟 Beef Combo Pho – The broth tasted homemade and rich 🥘, with generous portions of beef and soft, silky rice noodles. A bit mild for my taste, but still delicious and very filling! 🌟 Spicy Fried Rice – Made with green chili peppers 🌶️ – be warned, it’s quite spicy! Even two Hunan natives confirmed the heat 🔥. Tasty, but consider the non-spicy version if you can’t handle it. 🌟 Thai-Style Fried Chicken – Freshly fried, crispy on the outside, juicy inside 🍗 – highly recommend! 🌟 Spring Rolls – Refreshing Vietnamese-style rolls with shrimp, egg, cucumber, and bean sprouts 🥒🥚🦐, served with sweet chili sauce. A nice light option! 🌟 Steamed Buns (bottom right of the menu) – Reminded us of Costco buns 🥟! Served with vinegar and garlic sauce — six small pieces, tasty but a bit small in portion. 🌟 Thai Iced Tea – A bit heavy on the artificial sweetness with a thick cream topping 🧋 – okay, but nothing special. 🌟 Hot Chocolate – Rich and creamy, made with milk and topped with whipped cream ☕🍦 – definitely recommend! 💰 Price per person: $35–40 🍛 Perfect after a cold day of exploring — warm, hearty, and full of flavor!
