There were only 2 tables occupied upon arrival, and it was 3:50 P.M. so not a busy time. The ginger tea I ordered was delicious (and brought me there) and I also ordered red curry w tofu. It was all downhill from there. I was patient, very patient, asking for more ginger tea from a different waitress around the 20 minute mark. I had been there over 30 minutes when the second waitress approached, laughing, and apologizing for giving my order to a different table due to miscommunication from the first waitress. By the time I received my food, I had watched the other two tables order, eat, and leave, and a new table arrive, order, and eat appetizers. I was again ignored once I received my food and had to go to the register to find someone to pay. Not only was there no discount on the bill (the minimal attempt at making things right) but I was charged for two ginger teas (homemade and only requiring adding hot water). Read moreThis place is a hole-in-the-wall restaurant that serves amazing food! I've walked past it many times and last month finally gave into the fabulous aromas that quaffed from its open doors. The decor is not much too look at, but the service is, "homey". Meaning this place makes you feel like relaxing, watch a little TV, read the paper, and enjoy your meal as if you were at home.

The Food! I order the soft-shell crab salad along with Red Curry Salmon with rice. Each bite was an explosion of flavors coming together in perfect harmony. You know how when you really like something, you eat slowly evaluating each bite in small nibbles? Yeah, that was me.
My only con is the place is a bit spendy, but worth it. This place is the BEST Thai restaurant...

Going there today was a good reminder that I need to go back far more frequently than I do. The atmosphere inside is more utilitarian than aesthetically designed , but they know what they are doing when it comes to making food. My only complaint is the use of Styrofoam and plastic to-go containers making direct contact with hot food in takeout. We would prefer paper-based containers, or a parchment paper barrier to minimize contact with...
