Albany, New York π½
Many people aren't very familiar with Albany, so here's an introduction to New York State's capital city! π Location On the banks of the Hudson River. Forms an equilateral triangle with New York City and Boston, about 2-3 hours by bus from each. π Transportation Taxis: Plenty available outside the airport - convenient and time-saving. Car Rental: I booked through the Expedia App (available in Chinese). I chose a mid-sized car for about $160 for one day. Pick-up: 737 Albany Shaker Rd Tip: Don't forget your driver's license and credit card! π¨ AccommodationAlso booked on Expedia a month in advance for a better rate. I stayed at Tru by Hilton: Price: Around $110/night Address: 798 Albany Shaker Road, Latham, NY, 12211 Perks: Free breakfast served 7-10 AM and close to the airport. π WeatherEarly autumn is beautiful here - warm days and cool nights. But the wind can be dry and biting, so bring a warm coat! π½οΈ DiningMost restaurants are American-style, with fewer Chinese options. Prices are reasonable. Area: 80 S Swan St 2nd.
