Albany, NY: A Casual Photo Diary

This time, I came to Albany, New York, to shoot a video for Anker’s Eufy robotic vacuum. It was my first time in this city, and it has a unique charm—a fascinating blend of history and countryside vibes. 🏛️🌳 Just a few minutes’ drive from downtown, you’ll find yourself surrounded by rural landscapes, as if switching between time and space. The rain-soaked streets, however, added a sense of “adventure”: the lane lines were blurred, and road signs were hardly clear. Even with navigation, my colleague (from LA) and I still took wrong turns—twice. 🚗💨 We tried two Chinese restaurants—both underwhelming—but ended up finding comfort in a Halal food spot. Flavorful, generous portions, and open late… that kind of humble warmth always feels reassuring. 🥙✨ The streets were quiet and barely crowded—maybe the lingering drizzles kept everyone indoors. But that night, after wrapping up the shoot, we stepped into an Irish pub. The burst of liveliness instantly shattered our impression of the city as “cold.” For a Wednesday evening, the bar was packed. Laughter, clinking glasses… everyone was freely unwinding from the day. 🍻🤍 In that moment, I felt Albany’s most genuine humanity—people know each other, yet still carry their own unique stories. This city may not be bustling, but it has its own rhythm and a hidden warmth. This post was written with GPT. #WanderAndSnap 📸 #ExploreAndCapture 🌆 #EveryCityIsABook 📖 #StayTuned 💫
