Albany, NY | Restaurant with Generous Great Food, and Cozy Ambiance

On our way back from leaf-peeping ๐Ÿ, we passed through Albany, the capital of New York State, and discovered this restaurant offering large portions, delicious food, and a pleasant atmosphere. Compared to NYC prices, itโ€™s such a great deal! The flavors are authentic, and we were so full we couldnโ€™t finish everything. Took the leftovers home for another satisfying meal. Recommendations: 1๏ธโƒฃ Di San Xian (Stir-fried Potato, Green Pepper & Eggplant) ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ So flavorful ๐Ÿ˜‹, and the ingredients are spot-on. Special shoutout for using Chinese eggplants ๐Ÿ† instead of the firmer American varietyโ€”it makes all the difference! The potatoes were soft and tender, too. 2๏ธโƒฃ Crispy Spicy Chicken Strips ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Savory, spicy, and crispy fried chicken strips that instantly brought back childhood memoriesโ€”absolutely delicious! 3๏ธโƒฃ Japanese Tofu with Sauce ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Havenโ€™t had this in a long time! The sweet, tangy, and savory sauce was perfectly thickened ๐Ÿ‘. Not Recommended: The Pork Knuckle was a letdown. First, it wasnโ€™t actually knuckleโ€”just spare ribs. Second, it was underseasoned and bland, needing soy sauce to add flavor. One dish per person is more than enough to leave you stuffed. We also noticed they offer hotpot! The moment we stepped in, the aroma made our empty stomachs growl even louder ๐Ÿคค. ๐Ÿ“ Northeast Chinese II ๐Ÿ“ 900 Central Ave, Albany, NY 12206 #NYState #UpstateNY #AlbanyEats #Albany #AlbanyFood#NYCFood #NYCFoodGuide
