Today I recreated a Greek dish I once had in ABQ — and it brought back so many memories! Always packed with locals and road-trippers — especially grandparents who drive in just for the burritos! Must-try: Burritos, soft tacos, sweet rolls, and loaded nachos 🌯🌮🍬. 2️⃣ Golden Pride 📍 1830 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106 The BEST fried chicken in ABQ! 🍗 Started near UNM Hospital, now they have three locations. Recommend: Fried chicken, sweet ribs, mac & cheese, beans. Love spice? Try the jalapeños! 🌶️ 3️⃣ Sadie’s 📍 6230 4th St NW, Los Ranchos De Albuquerque, NM 87107 Authentic Mexican — taken here by Mexican friends! A bit far, so drive if you can 🚗💨. 4️⃣ Tia B's La Waffleria 📍 3710 Campus Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106 Local-favorite brunch spot — cute and delicious Belgian waffles 🧇🍓. 5️⃣ Sichuan King 📍 Approximately 3000 San Pedro Dr NE Suite D, Albuquerque, NM 87110 One of the earlier Chinese spots in ABQ — everyone knew Sichuan King! Spicy and classic 🥢🌶️. (Note: Address might have changed — ask around!) 6️⃣ Gyros Mediterranean 📍 106 Cornell Dr SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106 My unforgettable Greek spot 💘! Small, cozy, and loved by locals. My host mom brought me here — still dreaming of their gyros 🥙. 7️⃣ Cinnabon 📍 Colorado Center, 6600 Menaul Blvd NE S-5, Albuquerque, NM 87110 Warm, gooey, melt-in-your-mouth cinnamon rolls 🧁☕. Probably a million calories… and worth every one 😂.
