Amazing Spanish Small Plates
Visited Charlotte and tried Bulla Gastrobar. They offer a 3-course brunch and Γ la carte options on weekends. We went for the Γ la carte menu! Tuna Tartar πππππ Highly recommended! The tuna is tender, mixed with avocado and corn, and itβs shiny with a sesame aroma. Served with crispy corn chips, itβs doubly delicious! The portion is generous; we finished the chips but still had a lot of tuna left. You can get more chips for free, and itβs the kind of dish where 1+1 is greater than 2 in taste. French Toast ππππ These are two and a half slices of toast that look like they have a lot of jam but arenβt too sweet. Eating it with cream is very fragrant. The blueberry jam is sweet and sour, and the brioche has a slight caramel aroma. Brunch Paella πππ I wanted to order rice but accidentally ordered this one. It doesnβt have seafood, but it comes with bacon, spinach, and tomato. The taste is decent but not amazing, and itβs a bit salty. The portion is huge; it could easily be shared by four people. Montaditos (brisket) πππππ Their small plates are really delicious! The flavor combination is stunning, with a crispy, soft baguette on the bottom and brisket, cheese, jalapeΓ±o, and tomato marmalade on top. The tomato marmalade is the highlight, sweet and pairing perfectly with the jalapeΓ±o to balance the richness of the cheese and brisket. The ambiance is nice with plenty of seating. We were able to walk in just before 1 PM on a Saturday, and the service speed was decent, except for the paella which has a 30-minute wait as stated on the menu. All the small plates are delicious! Their brunch menu is also very appealing, and getting 3 courses for $30 per person is a great deal! #NorthAmericaLife #DiningAdventures #WeekendDining #HiddenGemRestaurant #Brunch #NorthCarolina #NorthCarolinaFood
