đ„© American Steakhouse New Experience | CrĂšme BrĂ»lĂ©e Sweetness âš
Honestly, I didnât have high hopes for this steakhouse at first (since itâs labeled "American" đ ). Just wanted a casual meaty dinner on the weekend and booked it because of the good reviews. But⊠it exceeded expectations! We went on a Sunday afternoonâthe atmosphere was elegant, perfect for a date đ. So glad we reserved in advance; it was packed with walk-ins waiting in line! đ„ Appetizer: Shrimp Cocktail Highly recommend! Ice-cold shrimp with a squeeze of lemonârefreshing and zesty. The shrimp were fresh and crunchy, with a hint of salt (I donât usually like salty food, but this worked! đŠ). đ Main Courses I ordered the Chicago Ribeye (pre-marinated) The meat was top-tierâjuicy and tender! đ„© A bit too salty for me, though. The unmarinated version might be better, but it was still delicious. Portion was huge! The mashed potatoes on the side were creamy and butteryâI loved them đ„. My friend got the Filet Mignonâhe said it was so tender (and the salt level was perfect for me!). The fries were a standoutâcrispy outside, fluffy inside, golden and crispy đ. Red wine: I just had surgery, so only my friend ordered it. Tried a tiny sipâso good, it made me want to visit a winery soon đ·! đź Dessert: CrĂšme BrĂ»lĂ©e! Iâd been craving this on Saturday, and they had itâserendipity! The custard was smooth and creamy, but the caramel on top was a bit thick and bitter. Still, I enjoyed itâit had a retro vibe đź. đ Verdict Great ambiance, friendly service, and steak quality that matches the price. The dessert had a small flaw, but overall, it was a fantastic experience! Total for two (with tip): ~$200 If youâre craving a "ritzy" meaty weekend meal, give it a try! Itâs near South Parkâperfect for post-dinner shopping to walk off the food coma âïž. #StudyAbroadLife #CharlotteNC #WeekendEats #AmericanSteakhouse #FoodieShare #CharlotteRestaurants #EatDrinkRepeat #CharlotteEats #NorthCarolina #FoodieAdventures #SistersTrip
