Amex Platinum|Where to Use the LA Resy $100 Credit 💳🍽️

Here’s my take on using the Amex Resy benefit twice in LA — both times on delicious Korean food, and totally worth every penny (and bite!). 🥩 📍 First Stop: ORIGIN (Former Kang Ho-dong Baekjeong location in Ktown) We ordered the duo set, and after tip it came to around $120 — we only paid about $20 out of pocket! ✔️ Garlic Marinated Short Ribs — tender and flavorful, must-order. ✔️ Pork Belly — surprisingly not gamey at all! Grilled perfectly by the staff — crispy yet not greasy. ✔️ Complimentary japchae was also a tasty bonus. 📍 Second Stop: LASUNG TOFU & POT RICE ✔️ Short Rib Rice Bowl — a must-try, especially with a dab of wasabi. ✔️ Galbi — expertly grilled, juicy and tender. Both meals paired beautifully with their signature stone pot rice. We ordered two tofu stew combos — after tip, about $95. We still had $5 left and thought about adding a Coke, but the server kindly offered us free drinks in exchange for a Yelp review (he didn’t even check — super nice!). So we ended up not even using the full credit — still a win! Both spots are seriously delicious — places I’d happily pay for even without the credit. But let's be real… using the Amex perk makes every bite taste even better! 😉 #AmexPlatinum #AmexPerks #ResyLA #LAEats #KoreanBBQ #FoodieCredit #DiningDeals #LosAngelesFood #KtownLA 🥢🔥💸🌟
