🦪 An Adorable & Delicious Oyster Spot in Los Angeles! 🍽️✨
📍 Name: Found Oyster A super hip little spot in Hollywood, LA, specializing in oysters and scallops! The seating is limited and cozy. Since we couldn’t get through by phone 📞, we decided to walk in. We ordered drinks at the door and sipped while we waited—only about 30 minutes for a party of three! Not bad at all! 🥂👌 Since it was our first time, we played it safe and started with half a dozen oysters + scallops. They were so delicious that we ended up ordering a full dozen more after trying a bunch of other signature dishes! 🤦🏻♀️😋 Couldn’t help ourselves! 👇 Recommendations: 🦪 Oysters – Oyster lovers, you can’t miss these! So fresh and flavorful! The scallops were just okay for me though, haha—not as memorable as Chaozhou-style raw marinated seafood. 🍤 Fried Oysters – Surprisingly plump and juicy! Served with dipping sauce—fried food just makes you happy, right? 🥦 Broccolini – Cooked with pickled peppers for a mild tangy-spicy kick. Perfect for balancing out all the rich food! 💁🏻♀️ So-So: 🦞 Lobster Roll – Packed full of meat! We shared one among three people so we could try more dishes. 🇲🇽 Scallop Tostada – The scallops were fresh and the crispy base was nice, but the sauce was a bit heavy and overshadowed the natural sweetness of the scallops. 🙅🏻♀️ Not Recommended: 🍋 Lemon Pie – Classic American dessert-level sweet 😅 Even though the lovely server said it wasn’t too sweet, it was still way too much for the three of us. The strong lemon sourness + extreme sweetness just wasn’t my thing 😿 Have you been here? What’s your favorite oyster spot in LA?
