An Enchanting Walk Through 4 Royal Parks! ๐ณ
London is blessed with 8 magnificent Royal Parks, each with its own unique character and charm. ๐ฟ We embarked on a fantastic walking adventure along an extended trail that took us through four of these stunning green spaces in one glorious go! ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐ถโโ๏ธ Here was our amazing route: We started our journey in Kensington Gardens (right by the majestic Albert Memorial โจ) and walked across the Serpentine Bridge to enter... Hyde Park! ๐ฆข From there, we continued through Hyde Park Corner and moved onwards into... Green Park, passing by the world-famous Buckingham Palace! ๐ฐ Finally, we arrived at our last park... St. James's Park, exiting at the Whitehall gate. The entire trail is lovely and flat, making it easily accessible for most people. ๐ฃ๏ธ If you walked non-stop, you could probably complete it in about 1 to 1.5 hours. However, we ended up spending a delightful hour and a half in Kensington Gardens alone (which meant we had to cut our time a bit short in St. James's and Green Parks โ next time!). โฑ๏ธ A quick tip: There are very few signs within the parks directing you along this specific route. If you're happy with a leisurely, exploratory stroll, you'll be fine! But if you're on a tight schedule or want to hit all the key sights, I highly recommend downloading the trail map from the Royal Parks website beforehand! ๐ฑ๐บ๏ธ There's so much to see, but the main highlights included: ๐๏ธ Kensington Gardens: Kensington Palace (ยฃ20) The Albert Memorial The Italian Gardens, especially the beautiful white marble Tazza Fountain The Talking Peter Pan Statue ๐น Hyde Park: Hyde Park Corner & Wellington Arch The Serpentine Lake (we took a lovely break at the Serpentine Lido Cafรฉ! โ) The Rose Garden ๐ Green Park: Buckingham Palace The Memorial Gates ๐ฆ St. James's Park: St. James's Lake & the iconic Blue Bridge The St. James's Pelicans! (Yes, real pelicans! ๐ฆ) #LondonWalkingTour #KensingtonGardens #HydePark #GreenPark #StJamesPark
