An Unexpected Encounter with Hidden Ham House in Richmond 🏰✨
Originally planned to visit Hampton Court but found it closed that day 🚪❌—ended up exploring nearby Ham House instead, right by the River Thames. It’s stunning how a 17th-century mansion can still take your breath away today 😍🌿. The delicate lavender garden felt like stepping into a movie scene 🎬💜, and wandering through its maze-like paths, I couldn’t help but imagine the lives of those who once lived here. Also stopped by Bushy Park 🦌🍃—it’s fawn season! Spotted mother deer with their little ones grazing under dappled sunlight… such a healing sight 🌤️💚. Final thoughts: Very safe—mostly middle-class white folks, no homeless or drug users in sight. But honestly… it’s kind of boring 😴 You can see everything in half a day. As for food—lots of other posts cover that, so I’ll skip it! #Richmond #HamHouse #LondonDayTrip #ArchitecturalBeauty #GardenWander #FlowFit #TravelSnippets #London
