Anapa Restaurant Guide | Texas BBQ Rice at Ricewood
York (with Ricewood Mini Shop Inside!) – Ann Arbor’s BBQ Spot for Juicy Pork Belly (Brisket Sells Out FAST!) 🍖 Turns out its full name is York—Ricewood is just the cute little mini shop inside! I’ve been wanting to try their BBQ, and today I finally dragged a friend along—we left stuffed, happy, and already planning to come back (next time for brisket, fingers crossed!). Here’s the full scoop for fellow meat lovers 🥩 🍴 The BBQ: Pork Belly & Pulled Pork = Winners (Medium = Spicy Warning!) We ordered two mains, and both were delicious—no misses here: Pork Belly (Medium Spice): 🐷 Perfectly marbled (fat + lean in every bite!) and so flavorful. The medium spice was way spicier than we expected, though—we were chugging water the whole time 🥲! But the heat was worth it—each piece was tender, juicy, and packed with smoky BBQ flavor. Pulled Pork (No Spice): 🐖 Shredded, moist, and seasoned just right. Even without spice, it had tons of depth—great on its own or piled onto a bun (if they had them!). Pro tip: The portions are huge! We only finished half before we were stuffed—save room (or bring leftovers home) if you’re dining with 2 people. ⚠️ Brisket Alert: Sells Out in Minutes! Want brisket? Get here EARLY! I arrived at 5:25 PM, and they said it sold out just 10 minutes before 🥹. If you’re lucky enough to grab it, please share your thoughts—I’m already jealous of anyone who tries it! 📍 Location & Transport: Easy for U-M Students Whether you drive or take the bus, it’s a breeze to get to: Driving: 10 minutes from CCTCs 🚗 15 minutes from Pierpont Look for the sign in Photo 10 to turn—parking spots outside are limited, so arrive a little early if you can!
