Animae's Asian Fusion Food Experience 🎉

I recently celebrated my birthday at Animae restaurant in San Diego, and the atmosphere was amazing! The soft lighting and elegant setting made it perfect for a special occasion. As an Asian fusion restaurant, the dishes are full of creativity, and my friends and I couldn't resist taking photos while eating.📸 First, I have to praise the "Fish Fragrant Rice Cakes"! The name sounds fun, and the vegetables in it were fresh and juicy. The rice cakes had a magical texture—soft and chewy, making you want more.😋 However, the coal roasted cabbage was a matter of personal taste—I found the flavor a bit off-putting and almost felt like throwing up, but my friend got really into it and said it had a unique charm.🤢 Haha, maybe it depends on your preferences! For the main courses, the Hunan lamb chop was like a premium version of lamb skewers, with a strong lamb flavor that lamb lovers would adore.😊 But I thought the Taiwanese chicken was even better—crispy on the outside and tender inside, tastier than the lamb! The braised short ribs were also great, with tender meat, though the flavor could have been a bit richer and more intense.🍖 The biggest surprise was the Pork tomahawk tocino—super delicious! The meat was juicy, and the seasoning was just right, simple and satisfying. Overall, the meal was full of surprises and joy, and I highly recommend giving it a try.🎂 #SanDiegoFood #BirthdayRestaurant #AsianFusion #AnimaeExperience #FoodShare #RestaurantRecommendation #FoodieDiary
