Ann Arbor First Bite-Ann Arbor French Toast Ceiling

First Bite | Ann Arbor’s Brunch Gem – Best French Toast in Town (Plus a Killer Burger!) I’m obsessed with French toast topped with whipped cream and fresh fruit—and at First Bite, I found what I think is the best French toast in Ann Arbor right now! Not only that, their beef burger is amazing too. It’s affordable, portions are just right, and I loved it so much I ate here two mornings in a row 😍. 🥞 French Toast: Two Options, One Clear Favorite (Photo 2 Is a Must!) Let’s talk about the star of the show—their French toast has two picks, and one blows the other out of the water: 🍔 Beef Burger: Juicy, Creamy, & So Satisfying Who expects a great burger at a brunch spot? First Bite delivers! It’s cooked medium by default, and the beef has a rich, creamy (yes, creamy!) flavor—every big bite is so satisfying. Add a fried egg on top, and it’s even better. For sides, you can pick potato chips or veggie chips—I love the veggie ones (crunchy, light), while the potato chips taste like store-bought. Either way, the burger is a solid choice if you’re craving something savory. 🍛 Chicken Curry Bowl: Warm, Spicy, & Comforting I was surprised by how much I liked this! The curry isn’t too thick—light enough to mix with rice easily—and it leaves a nice spicy kick (I think they added ginger, which gives it a warm finish). The chicken, carrots, sweet potatoes, and other veggies are simmered until tender, so every bite is cozy. The salt level is perfect—no need to add anything. Great if you want something hearty on a cool morning. 🥤 Drink Miss: Chai Latte – Skip It The only letdown was the chai latte. It’s sweet, bitter, and has way too much cinnamon—all the flavors clash, not balanced at all. Stick to coffee or juice instead. 🤦‍♀️ Service: Slow, But Forgivable Service is just “okay.” Our waiter took forever to bring menus, and we waited 15 minutes to order—even when the restaurant wasn’t busy. It’s annoying, but the food is so good I’m willing to look past it. 💰 Final Verdict: Cheap, Tasty, & I’ll Be Back! This is one of the most affordable brunches in Ann Arbor, and the quality is way above the price. I’ll keep coming back for that fluffy French toast and juicy burger—even with the slow service. If you’re in the mood for great brunch without spending a lot, First Bite is a must-try! #UniversityOfMichiganAnnArbor #Toast #AnnArbor #AnnArborFood #AnnArborBrunch #AffordableEats #FrenchToast #Burger
