Annapurna Base Camp Treking daily

✨ This morning, I witnessed the sunrise over the golden mountains! But it was incredibly cold, with a perceived temperature of minus 15 degrees. ❤️ On the mountaintop, watching the sunrise, I unexpectedly ran into friends from the EBC trail! It was such a magical encounter! 😭 Today's plan was to descend directly to Jhinu )for a hot spring soak, but the descent proved to be much more difficult than anticipated... ⚠️ The snow on the trail was deep, with some sections iced over and hidden streams... Near the base camp, the high altitude made it a bit easier to navigate. ❄️ The lower the altitude, the softer the snow became, and there were many times when even with crampons, I would slip. The trail conditions worsened after noon, and many people fell on the way down. It wasn't until we descended to the Himalayan snow line that the snow became less abundant... 😑 We had planned to have lunch at Bamboo, but we didn't arrive until evening, and I ended up walking in the dark again... ⚠️ Winter trekking is indeed heavily influenced by the weather. I hope those planning to do the ABC trek in winter are well-prepared.
