💛This is a go - to Italian restaurant in McKinney for everyday dates, with live jazz starting at 6:30 p.m. Parking is a bit tricky as it's next to a place where kids learn Brazilian jiu - jitsu. The restaurant's decor is quite romantic, not overly fancy but with a great vibe and good for taking photos. The food is average but reasonably priced, and the dessert is so delicious that I forgot to take a photo. 🩷Carpaccio - The olive oil wasn't spread on the plate's bottom, causing the beef to stick a bit and with too much oil drizzled on top, making it a bit greasy (one of the fatal flaws). However, the dish was saved by the black truffle cheese. It just didn't look very appealing when eaten. ✨Wagyu Steak - It was decent. The rare steak was cooked a bit on the tougher side, but this isn't a steak - focused restaurant, so I can let it slide. Fillet of Branzino - This was enjoyable! It's rare to find such a well - cooked sea bass at an affordable restaurant, with crispy skin, no scales, and no bones. It was served with a classic parsnip puree that usually accompanies confit duck. I took a few bites before realizing it was parsnip. The flavor was familiar but hard to pinpoint at first. For the Italian dessert, just order randomly. It won't be overly sweet and has a delicate texture. I'll definitely visit again. #Dallas cuisine #McKinney date #Dallas date #livejazz #Dallas
