Another Philly French Favorite Added to My List

Just had a meal at The Good King Tavern and all I can say is… they absolutely get it! ✨ Cozy, laid-back French bistro vibes with soft lighting and friendly staff — the kind of place you never want to leave. 🍽️ What we tried: 🐌 Escargots – Rich and flavorful, served in a tangy sauce that pairs perfectly with fresh bread. A satisfying start! 🦪 Fried Oysters – Crispy and creamy (thanks to the mayo), but a squeeze of lemon brightens it right up. So good! 🥩 Tartare – Lightly seasoned and very fresh. Simple but solid — especially when enjoyed with their golden fries 🍟 (and I’m a total fry lover!) 🦆 Duck Breast – So tender! The dish leans tangy on its own, but the apple slices tie everything together beautifully. A well-balanced main. 💬 Perfect spot for a delicious yet relaxed meal — no stuffiness, just great food and good vibes. Also, the value is fantastic! P.S.
