Antico Nuovo – Rustic Italian Dining in LA 🍝🌿
Another amazing restaurant within walking distance from home! Tucked away in a small, unassuming plaza, but step inside and it’s a whole different world. I absolutely love the open kitchen setup and the display of beautiful tableware near the entrance. 🍴✨ Both times I visited, the same lovely older gentleman served us—super friendly and gave great wine recommendations! 🍷 For starters, the focaccia is a must-order—incredibly fluffy and delicious with ricotta or duck liver pâté. Speaking of which, the duck liver here is the smoothest I’ve ever tasted, full of rich flavor. If you love pâté, you have to try it! Just a heads-up: the appetizers are pretty generous—perfect for sharing among four people. The pasta was solid, though not mind-blowing—maybe I was too tipsy to remember clearly 😅. But the branzino was outstanding! Perfectly cooked with a tangy caper and lemon sauce—so fresh and flavorful. 🐟🍋 Desserts were decent, but their “Italian knock-off cola” was surprisingly fun and tasty! 😆 Oh, and I heard this place is featured in the Michelin Guide! ⭐ #ItalianCuisine #MichelinRestaurant #LAEats #LosAngeles #ItalianFood #RusticDining #OpenKitchen #CozyVibes #WineLovers #FoodGuide #HiddenGem #MichelinRecommended #WestLA #CasualElegance
