Antwerp | I'd Love to Wander and Get Lost in This City

Antwerp is truly the perfect place for a "slow-walking" trip. Unlike Brussels, which has a strong political vibe, or Bruges, which is like a fairy tale with its picturesque filters, Antwerp has a quietly fashionable charm. It's not showy, but it's full of surprises at every turn. Today, I'm sharing my one-day leisurely wandering route in Antwerp, along with some of my personal recommendations. If you're planning to visit, just save this post! Itinerary: 1️⃣ Antwerp Central Station It's no exaggeration to say that it's one of the "Top Ten Most Beautiful Train Stations in the World." It looks like a palace. I recommend coming early in the morning when there are fewer people so you can take plenty of atmospheric photos. 2️⃣ Meir Shopping Street Walk from the station to Meir, shopping along the way. You'll find Zara, &Other Stories, independent designer boutiques, and even H&M, which is decorated like a palace. Shopping for clothes in Europe is really a great deal! 3️⃣ Rubens House If you're into art, this place is a must-visit! The Baroque-style courtyard is so beautiful that I'd love to wear a long dress and pretend to be a noblewoman entering the scene. The ticket price is around 10 euros, and you can buy it on-site. 4️⃣ Pakt District + Caffenation Café I recommend taking a stroll in this area in the afternoon. It's like a "creative district," with local cafés, flower shops, and bookstores. I had an amazing pour-over coffee at Caffenation!☕️ 5️⃣ MAS Museum Rooftop for SunsetAfter sightseeing, head to the dock area and go to the top floor of the MAS Museum (it's free!) to watch the sunset. The wind blowing is so soothing that it feels like a healing embrace. The photos you'll take here are just amazing. I suggest going in the evening! Transport Tips: 🚶‍♀️ You can basically cover the whole itinerary on foot (perfect for walking enthusiasts). 🚇 It only takes 40-50 minutes by train from Brussels to Antwerp, so a day trip is totally feasible! 🍫 Don't forget to buy some local chocolate on the way and enjoy it as you walk! This is my one-day leisurely wandering journey in Antwerp. It feels like the city is just right, the timing is just right, and the mood is just right.✨ #Antwerp #BelgiumTravel #EuropeOffTheBeatenPath #ArtsyItinerary #SlowTravel #TravelTipsCollection #TravelDiary
