Aomori Day Trip βοΈ Oirase Gorge Guide (1)π
If you're like me and planning a day trip to Oirase from Aomori, this guide is all you need. π’π Initially, I planned to stay at the Hoshino Resorts Oirase Hotel, but during the peak season, they require a two-night minimum stay, which would have wasted too much of my time. So I gave up on that and started researching a day trip route, which turned out to be completely feasible. β‘οΈ On the way there: At 8:10 in the morning, catch the JR BUS from Aomori Station. If you have a JR PASS, you can directly join the queue. No reservation is needed, but it's recommended to arrive at the bus stop 20 minutes early to queue. π’π After about a 2-hour ride, you'll arrive at the Oirase River Gorge Pavilion. This is the starting point for hiking, but the highlight section is from "Ishi no Oto" to "ChΕshi no Taki," so we chose to start from Ishi no Oto. π’π We walked for about an hour and a half, covering 7 km to Unai no Nagare, and then took the JR BUS again, arriving at Ko no Guchi around 12 o'clock. #Tokyo πβ¨
