Oirase Gorge in Northeast Japan🌊

This is my first time visiting the Tohoku region of Japan. Before coming, I only had a general idea of what the scenery at Oirase Gorge in Aomori would be like—but its actual beauty far exceeded my imagination.🎢🍃 An unexpected highlight of this trip was Lake Towada, located on the border of Aomori and Akita Prefectures. Shrouded in deep clouds and mist, serene and tranquil, it felt like a fairyland.🌸🌺 However, however! 🚨 This place has zero public transportation aside from JR buses. It’s even hard to find a convenience store, not to mention—once you enter the mountains, there’s no mobile signal at all.🌿📵 For hiking, it’s recommended to stay near Lake Towada or along the Oirase Greek.
