Apple Picking ๐ + Maple Leaf Viewing ๐
Iโve always loved picking fresh fruit! Iโd been wanting to go grape picking recently, but work kept me too busy and I missed the season ๐. Finally had some free time today, so James and I headed to Oak Glen to pick apples ๐! We visited Los Rios Rancho. The orchard had two types of apples available for pickingโI preferred Arkansas Black. They were plump, beautifully colored, and most importantly, incredibly tasty! Freshly picked apples straight from the tree are a hundred times better than store-bought ones. So juicy! ๐ฆ ๐ The farm also has a small Petting Zoo with goats and alpacasโgreat for kids! You can also take a ride on a Horse Wagon. ๐ Thereโs a BBQ restaurant on-site. The roasted beef was delicious! We ordered a salad and added some beefโit was really good. The grilled chicken sandwich was nice too. Apple pie lovers should definitely give theirs a try! After that, we visited Rileyโs Farm. This orchard is known for its colonial-style vibe, and the maple trees there are absolutely stunning ๐. It's peak season nowโso hurry and go! ๐ฌ Whatโs your favorite fruit-picking spot near LA? Share your recommendations below! ๐ ๐ฌ Been apple picking this fall?
