Around Boston | Ogunquit, a Coastal Town in Maine ๐
๐ Driving Route: It takes approximately one and a half hours to drive to the coastal town of Ogunquit, Maine from the area near Harvard University. ๐ Location: Perkins Cove, 108 Perkins Cove Rd, Ogunquit, ME 03907 Recommendations: Barnacle Billyโs: Their ice cream (available next to the top parking lot) is absolutely fantastic! It outshines most popular ice cream options in China. Prime Photo Spot (as shown in Picture 1): Jackieโs Too Restaurant, which is just diagonally opposite the ice cream stand. โ ๏ธ Note: You will be stopped by the restaurant staff if you take photos while standing on the rocks at the restaurant entrance. Instead, you can sit at the bar counterโ the background there is equally beautiful! Along the road leading to the coast, there are numerous charming bed-and-breakfasts. As Halloween ๐ approaches, many pumpkin and ghost decorations have been put up, creating a fully immersive festive atmosphere. Most visitors at Perkins Cove are locals. On the day we visited, we only saw a few other Chinese people. While hiking along the coast, we received many generous compliments from local white ladiesโ it was a day when our mood matched the wonderful weather, and neither was let down! #USA #EasternUSA #NationalDayTravelDiary #BostonLife #AroundBoston #CoastalCities
