Around Dallas | Strolling Around Galveston
Departing from Dallas, we set off the day before noon, stopping frequently along the way, and by evening, we just rested... ❤️For lunch, we ate at Miller's Seawall Grill. It was delicious and good value for money. We had to wait for a table when we went. The second floor is a bar where you can enjoy drinks while watching the sea... 😽After lunch, we took the ferry ride, going back and forth. You can drive your car right on. We saw many dolphins🐬, mostly recorded videos, so there aren't many ferry photos in this note! (There might be a wait to get on the ferry.) If you want to drive onto the ferry, navigate to: 1000 Ferry Rd, Galveston, TX 77550 🦀If you want to park and walk on, navigate to this parking lot🅿️: 29°19'37.9"N 94°46'19.9"W We also took the trolley, which costs $1 per person. It's a loop line, so you can ride around and return to the starting point. In the evening, we went to the beach to dig in the sand. We went to East Beach, where the sea is a bit bluer... You can drive directly onto the beach. If your car doesn't have off-road capabilities, don't drive too far in, or you'll get stuck in the sand... We saw several cars being towed... #Dallas #ParentingDiary #AroundDallas #Galveston #SeaView #LocalGetaways #FerryRide #DolphinWatching #StrollingAround #WeekendMoments
