Asheville, NC|Slow Down Time in This Charming Mountain Town
If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a weekend and enjoy a relaxing afternoon filled with good food, drinks, and strolls, Asheville is the perfect destination. Wander through this artsy little town and you’ll see plenty of visitors like us, stopping every now and then with DSLR cameras in hand, capturing beautiful moments 📸. The unique boutiques lining the streets are perfect for slow browsing 🛍️. Art galleries, graffiti, and sculptures everywhere bring a breath of fresh creative energy 🎨✨. When you’re hungry, treat yourself to a delicious meal 🍲. When your feet get tired, recharge at a trendy coffee shop ☕ or satisfy your sweet tooth with ice cream 🍨. If you’re not driving, don’t miss out on local brews—Asheville’s breweries are fantastic! 🍻 The good weather and good vibes here are contagious 😊💫 📍 Location: Downtown Asheville, NC 🍽️ Restaurant: Red Ginger Dimsum & Tapas We arrived around noon. Though not very hungry, we couldn’t resist trying this place. It serves modern Chinese cuisine inspired by Din Tai Fung. Interestingly, we were the only Asians among both guests and staff. We ordered: Sichuan Spicy Chicken 🌶️ Grilled Trout with Spicy Sauce 🐟 Dry-Fried Shahe Noodles 🍜 The flavor was impressive and well worth the price. ☕ Cafe: Double D's Coffee & Dessert A super photogenic double-decker bus café! Both popular and Insta-worthy 🚌💕. (Check my other post for more details!) 🍨 Dessert Spot: Kilwin's Chocolates, Fudge, Ice Cream We were drawn in by the laughter and happy chatter at the entrance. We tried the waffle bowls with Chocolate Toasted Coconut and Mint Chocolate Chips — rich, authentic, and absolutely delicious! 🧁😋 #Asheville #NorthCarolina #TravelUSA #AmericanSouth #StreetPhotography
