🌄 Asheville | Coffee by Day, Beer by Night — A City Made for Chilling

My North Carolina journey began in Asheville. After landing in Charlotte, I drove about 2 hours to my stay — a cozy farm up in the hills 🏡. The host, a local farmer, owns horses 🐴 and turkeys 🦃, and the accommodation was lovely. The view outside was all green meadows — the entire lawn belongs to the host. During the day, he’d be mowing grass or chopping wood ☕🍺. He left coffee and beer ready for guests — enjoy a cup by the pasture in the morning, a cold one at night. A perfect “coffee by day, beer by night” kind of vibe. Even without going anywhere else, it was a full day of pure relaxation. 🏞️ Lake Lure — located near Chimney Rock State Park — perfect for hiking and a riverside picnic. I took a recommendation and visited the Flowering Bridge. It’s not very long, but it’s beautifully maintained and bursting with colors 🌸. ☕ Downtown’s famous bus-turned-cafe is photogenic and affordable. Downtown itself is pretty small and close to the Biltmore Estate, but… fair warning — you’ll see quite a few unusual characters around. If safety is a concern, maybe give it a skip. 🍺 I heard Asheville is big on breweries.
