Ashland: A Charming Mural Town on the Shores of Lake Superior 🎨🏞️

Ashland may be a small town, but it’s famous for its stunning murals! I wandered through its streets three or four times and found that the main roads basically consist of two-and-a-half east-west streets. Everywhere you turn, there’s another magnificent mural — almost every intersection has one! 🖼️✨ What surprised me the most was seeing a trolley full of tourists slowly passing by the murals with a guide explaining the stories behind them. I had no idea this kind of tour even existed! 🚋👀 When we reached the lakeshore — Chequamegon Bay, part of the vast Lake Superior — the scene was so typical of American small-town life. A group of adults were chatting by the water, while two dads were playing in the lake with a bunch of kids. 🇺🇸👨‍👧‍👦 What caught my eye was one dad driving a boat, towing the other dad on something behind it, with a boatload of kids just cruising in big circles out on the water… and the parents on the shore?
