ATL Eats: German Cuisine - Pork Knuckle & More
Restaurant: Kurt’s Euro Bistro 🇩🇪🍖 Taste: Solid overall, but wow—German food is salty! 😅 Many European dishes do tend to be heavily seasoned. Large Red Sausage – Reminded me of certain deli brands, savory and hearty. Pretzel 🥨 – Huge and fragrant! You can add cheese sauce for a small extra charge. Oysters – Fresh, plump, and delicious. Pork Knuckle 🐖 – Listed on the menu as requiring 24-hour advance notice, but we got lucky and they had one available! The skin was super crispy, the fatty parts were incredibly flavorful (though salty), and we took the leaner meat home to stir-fry with peppers later 🌶️. Happy Hour Alert 🕓: From 4pm–6:30pm, select items from a special menu are 20% off, including drinks! Ambiance: Cozy, intimate, and full of charm—feels like a family-run neighborhood spot. Lots of grandparents dining in, which adds to the homely vibe. There's also outdoor seating; during our visit it rained heavily, but the roses in the garden looked absolutely beautiful 🌹☔. Service: Friendly and attentive. Starters came out quickly, though the pork knuckle took a little longer—understandably! Final Thoughts: A sweet local bistro with a welcoming atmosphere. The oysters are a standout, and the pork knuckle is worth trying at least once for the experience! #AtlantaEats #GermanFood #PorkKnuckle #KurtsEuroBistro #HappyHour #Oysters #CozyVibes #EuroBistro #AtlantaFoodie #ComfortFood #TrySomethingNew
