ATL Eats: Korean Soup & Comfort Food
Restaurant: Busan Daegee Gukbap 부산 돼지국밥 🍲 This location has seen several restaurants come and go, but now it’s home to a cozy Korean soup spot run by kind ajummas (aunties)! Food Review: Spicy Pork Offal Soup 🌶️🐖 – So comforting! I dumped the rice right into the soup, paired it with banchan (side dishes), and it was hearty and satisfying. Highly recommend! Grilled Beef Short Ribs – Simple but tasty, though I forgot to snap a photo! 😅 Chive & Seafood Pancake – A bit on the oily side, not quite as crispy as the one from 88 Tofu House. Vibe & Service: The shop is small and humble with a self-ordering kiosk—and no tipping required, which feels pretty refreshing! 😄 It’s mostly self-service: you pick up your own food and return the trays. But the real heartwarming moment was seeing the ajummas prepare bone broth rice for a stray cat outside 🐱❤️. Such kind souls—good people indeed! Final Thoughts: A no-fuss, homey spot for warming Korean soups. If you’re craving something simple, savory, and made with care, give it a try! #AtlantaEats #KoreanFood #PorkSoup #BusanGukbap #ComfortFood #AtlantaFoodie #SelfService #NoTipping #Kindness #LocalEats #SoupSeason
