Auckland Day 2｜Blue Spring + Taupo + Huka Falls + Geothermal Park

💧 Blue Spring I heard 70% of New Zealand's bottled water comes from here! The water is incredibly clear, with flowing underwater plants moving with the current. It's supposed to be blue, but after yesterday's rain, it looked more emerald green today — still beautiful. In deeper spots where minerals collect, you can still catch glimpses of that magical blue. 🍔 Taupo Home to the world’s coolest McDonald’s — a real decommissioned WWII plane! ✈️ You can order and eat inside the cockpit. Then there’s Lake Taupo — 616 square kilometres so vast, at first I thought it was the ocean! 💙 Huka Falls Absolutely breathtaking — how can water be so clean and such a glacial pale blue? 🩵 The power and color are unreal. 🌋 Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland Three walking trails — we finished them all in about 1.5 hours. The lakes show stunning shades of yellow, red, blue and green.
