Auckland Food Hunt 01 | Kookoo’s Juicy Roast Chicken Steals

Heard so much about Kookoo’s famous roast chicken and finally got to try it — totally lived up to the hype, no misses! We ordered the original flavor roast chicken. The skin has a light crispy char, and it oozes juice when you cut into it 💦! The meat is super juicy with well-balanced seasoning (not overly salty), highlighting the natural freshness of the chicken — so flavorful 😋～ The best surprise was the thin layer of glutinous rice under the chicken! Soaked in rich chicken fat and broth, each grain is plump, oily and chewy — incredibly fragrant, I could eat two bowls easily 🤤～ The Tiramisu deserves a special shoutout! Creamy and smooth, with a perfect balance of coffee and milk flavors — sweet but not cloying, I wanted more after finishing it 👏～ The Kimchi Pancake was decent — soft crust with strong kimchi flavor, but not particularly outstanding. Worth a try but not a must-order. Great value for money, perfect for international students to gather.
