Auckland Newmarket Dinner|Double Harvest of Food and Christmas Vibe🎄
I had a big feast in Newmarket again~This time, my family and I headed straight to ShunJing Restaurant, and we even brought fresh live green wrasse, lobster and abalone for the restaurant to cook. The finished dishes were simply divine—yyds! I was amazed the moment the dishes were served. The meat of the green wrasse 🐟 was so tender that it melted in the mouth, and the delicious juice burst in the mouth, completely locking in the natural sweetness of the seafood; the lobster 🦞 meat was chewy and firm, with a full ocean umami in every bite; the abalone also had a great texture, soft and glutinous with a chew, and the seasoning was just right, setting off the original flavor of the ingredients incisively and vividly~ Unfortunately, I was too busy eating several other dishes to take photos 📸, which was a little "mistake" of a foodie. However, among tonight's dishes, my favorite was bitter melon stir-fried with fermented black beans 🥒. The bitterness of the bitter melon neutralized the saltiness of the fermented black beans, making it refreshing and delicious with rice. It was quickly eaten up as soon as it was served; my son was particularly fond of the lobster pasta 🍝 and green wrasse, with his little mouth stuffed full, eating happily~ After a hearty meal, we also stopped by to check in the Christmas tree in Newmarket 🎄. The warm lights paired with full happiness made this dinner really perfect~ #Auckland #Newmarket #NewZealandFood #ChristmasCheckIn #FamilyDinner
