Austin Crest has leveled up again recently 🤯 — this neighborhood just keeps raising the stakes for carb lovers. Originally, within just two short streets, we already had two bread giants holding court: Kenjo and 365 Bakery. Most of us figured the bread density had hit a comfortable maximum — a happy, but manageable, concentration of flour and butter. And then 65c Ondo arrived. Now, along one leisurely walking route, you’ll first be struck by the buttery perfume of croissants 🥐, then ambushed by the chewy, seeded charm of fresh bagels 🥯, and finally, gently wrapped up by a cloud‑soft Swiss roll 🇨🇭🍰. Ondo’s Austin Crest location opened today, and — predictably — I walked out with two more bags. Resistance was never really an option. So I’m making it official: Austin Crest is no longer fit for ordinary human habitation.
