Gold Coast One-Day Itinerary for Springbrook National Park 🔵 Stop ①: Purling Brook Falls 7:30 AM: Depart from Brisbane. It is recommended to bring lunch and dinner. ✨ Tips: There are two parking lots to choose from. On weekends and holidays, you can use the secondary parking lot. Main parking lot: Navigate to 33 Forestry Rd, Springbrook on Google Maps. Secondary parking lot: The Settlement Day Use Area, navigable to 35 Carricks Rd, Springbrook. 8:50 AM: Arrive at the parking lot and start hiking for 40 minutes. ✨ Tips: This is a loop trail. It is recommended to walk clockwise along the trail, so you can go down 450 steps first and then return via a gentler slope. It saves time and energy. 9:30 AM: Reach the small pool at the bottom of the waterfall, where you can swim and play. 🔵 Stop ②: Warringa Pool 11:00 AM: Continue hiking from the waterfall to Warringa Pool. It is a one-way round-trip route, taking less than 1 hour to go and return. ✨ You can swim and dive in Warringa Pool (pay attention to safety!). ✨ Have lunch here. 1:00 PM: Start returning to the waterfall along the original path, then take the other half of the waterfall loop trail back to the parking lot. 🔵 Stop ③: Canyon Lookout 2:30 PM: Get back to the car and navigate to Canyon Lookout. It takes only a few minutes to reach the viewing platform, where you can overlook Twin Falls. 🔵 Stop ④: Twin Falls 3:00 PM: Drive and navigate to Twin Falls Walk Start. 3:10 PM: Hike to Twin Falls, taking 50 minutes one way. ✨ This was originally part of a loop trail called Warrie Circuit, which takes 4.5 hours to complete (enough for a full day). However, due to time constraints, we will return along the original path after reaching the waterfall. 4:00 PM: Arrive at Twin Falls. 5:00 PM: Return to the parking lot along the original path. 🔵 Stop ⑤: Best Of All Lookout 5:10 PM: Navigate to Best Of All Lookout Car Parking, then walk 800 meters to the viewing platform for a panoramic view. ✨ Here, you can overlook the Gold Coast and the town of Murwillumbah, but it can be skipped if time is limited. 🔵 Stop ⑥: Natural Bridge Glow-worms 5:30 PM: Navigate to "Natural Bridge, Queensland 4211" and drive for 35 minutes. 6:00 PM: Arrive. ✨ There is a route map at the entrance. Be sure to look at it carefully, take a photo of it with your phone, and remember the approximate location of the "Glow-worm Cave". Otherwise, you might get lost once you enter and end up back at the starting point after an hour! ✨ In fact, if you turn off your flashlight along the way, you can see glow-worms on the roadside earth walls! Moreover, the glow-worms along the way are easier to observe. ✨ Be careful not to disturb the glow-worms and other visitors with your flashlight. A red-light flashlight is recommended. 7:30 PM: Drive to accommodation in Murwillumbah. #OutdoorsAreMySpiritualSanctuary #GreatHikingViewsLetsGoToTheMountainsToBreatheFreshAir #ClimbingHillsToSeeWaterfalls #OutdoorNature #WeekendGetaways #AustralianTravel
