Myung Ga Haejangguk in Arcadia serves up seriously authentic Korean beef broth and hot pots—so good, it’s become my personal canteen! If I hadn’t worked nearby, I might never have discovered this low-key gem. I’ve tried almost all their classic Korean soups: sundae-guk (blood sausage soup), beef offal soup, hearty beef bone broth… each one rivals the famous spots in Ktown. Beyond soups, they offer a range of Korean specialties. With a group, we ordered the bossam (pork wraps) and were blown away by their fried pork cutlet—yes, a Korean restaurant with incredible tonkatsu! 🐖✨ The owner also recommended their new spicy beef rib stew, packed with tender short ribs and rich, warming broth—an absolute must-try. Now whenever I crave Korean comfort food, I don’t have to trek to Ktown. The gas money I save?
