📍Authentic Korean Food in North Salt Lake City|Kogane Kitchen 🍲
Went skiing at Powder Mountain ⛷️, saw a Korean restaurant nearby online, and was so hungry I’d eat anything—but it turned out to be mind-blowingly delicious! 😍 The owner and chef are from Incheon, Korea 🇰🇿, and have been running this place for six years. They don’t speak much English, but after one too many “Americanized” Korean restaurants in the U.S., seeing the Korean sign felt like a rescue mission! 🚀 “It’s in Korean—we’re saved!” We ordered four dishes—each one was amazing: 1️⃣ Vegetable Pancake (Yachaejun) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Seafood pancake is only available on Thursday, but this veggie version was surprisingly incredible! Leek and scallion brought great flavor, and the bottom was perfectly crispy 🥬🍳. The dipping sauce was refreshing too. A must-try for pancake lovers! 2️⃣ Seafood Tofu Soup (SunToFu) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Served with a bowl of rice 🍚. Packed with seafood and tofu! The broth wasn’t too spicy but very rich. A bit salty on its own, but perfect with rice. 3️⃣ Beef Stone Pot Bibimbap (Dolsoot Beebeembop) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So good it made me want to buy a stone pot! 🍲 The beef was flavorful, veggies and crispy rice were on point. Comes with Korean chili paste to adjust spice level. Huge portion—can easily share between two. 4️⃣ Beef Short Ribs (Kalbi) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ A sizzling plate of Korean-style short ribs—tender and satisfying 🥩. A bit rich if you eat too much (but way better than all-you-can-eat BBQ!). Note: slightly pricier. Highly recommended! Authentic Korean flavors right here in Utah 🥢✨. Perfect after skiing or if you’re around Ogden. #SaltLakeCityEats #RestaurantRecommendation #HiddenGem #KoreanFood #SLCFood #SkiFood #KoreanBBQ #FoodieAdventure
